It's December!!
Got this great surprise BRAK from Cami. What an awesome job she did on this CD holder! It's so like Cami to be so thoughtful! I love the images that she chose to use - they're perfect! I can't wait to ink up Swiss Pixie, she's so cute!! Thanks so much, Cami!
I am thankful for many things in my life. But, I'm most thankful for my family and friends. You're all so wonderful!
Brenda sent this great thank you card with some really cute stamps. Go check out Brenda's site because she's not only the queen of punches, she's my idol mom!
My partner this month for Teri's OCS is Michelle U. Don't you just LOVE her card? It's so yummy! It's a slider card. So, so cute!
Talk about pressure!
Whew! I didn't have any good sentiment stamps so, I left it plain. Sorry, Michelle!
It's basketball season for ILH & OIA boys and girls, NCAA and NBA. yee-haw!! So, my posts will be few and far between as I'll either be watching it or coaching it.
Got this great BRAK from Dawne last week and am ashamed to say that I forgot to post it. Actually, I thought that my computer had lost my pictures when in fact, I didn't download it from my camera. Can we say, "duh?!"
I was super surprised when I got the BRAK because I saw the card on Dawne's blog and had commented on it. But, you know, it's one thing to see it on the computer and another to see it IRL. Hate to say it, but, the computers don't do any justice for the cards. The card is super cute!
Sure hope I'm not boring you, but, I wanted to share the great things that I received from some friends who I met through crafting! Michelle, who is in the same SU! group and who I met through blogging sent me this great BRAK!
My DD2 had to remind me that there was something else in the box too! Check out all these goods! Thanks so much, Michelle!
I'm so happy to have met so many nice people through blogging. It has opened many doors for me and I have learned many new things (or rather snaked many new ideas!). You are all so wonderful and I am truly blessed for having you in my life!
Just sharing more BRAK that I got. All of them were surprises and they all made my day a whole lot brighter! Actually, it made my week brighter! First was a BRAK from Kyoko. I LOVE the card and the sentiment is great! Sure do feel the aches and pains already. Or maybe it's the hard-of-hearing - nah, it's called "selective hearing!" Thanks, Kyoko!!
Got this awesome basketball card from Brenda, Punch Queen! I LOVE it! We're basketball freaks in our house. We love playing and watching it!
Brenda's card is so clever. The ball and basket both move! Cool! The inside pop-up is neat too! "Yeah, me!"...(London from Zack & Cody)
Inside this unique wrapping are Sizziz dies that will definitely be used in my scrapbooks! Thanks, Brenda!
Thank you also to those who sent me bday wishes! It's so nice to be loved!
Got some great surprise BRAK this week and will be sharing over the next few days. First came a card and goodies from Berenice. She made this great shaker card and check it out, she matched the outer paper with the inner paper. That must have been tricky to do. Muchas gracias, Berenice!
She used glitter (gasp!) and my Copics (bigger gasp!). I'll have to admit that she did a bang up job on this card.
Brings tears to my eyes. Not sure if it's because I'll have to share my stuff now or if it's because she's going to be a better crafter than me. Well, I love it anyway!
Sorry to keep dragging Halloween on and on, but, I'm finally getting around to posting some great RAK that I received. The above RAK was from the SU! Pacific Stamper's meeting last Friday. They make the coolest stuff!
Got one more Halloween project to show you this week. Don't forget, blog candy open until midnight tonight! Here
For this month's OCS, my partner was Enjoli. I'm always excited, but, nervous because my partners are always so creative. Enjoli's card is the double shaker card and it's absolutely gorgeous IRL! It sparkes and rattles and is spectacular. On top of that, Enjoli included CC Design's Witch Emma and ribbon. Thanks so much, Enjoli!
I made a waterfall card using TGF images. The ghost and pumpkin are metal charms that was in my stash.
Check out Teri's blog if you would like to sign up for OCS. It will be for both November and December.
Gosh, I'm so honored to have been chosen by Cami for this award. We've met through blogland and she is such a nice person! As are all the blogging sisters whom I've met.
To celebrate the great job that my keiki did this 1st quarter in school, here's some blog candy for you. And, also to thank you for YOU! I've met many wonderful people through blogland and am so grateful for the friendships. Thank you for stopping by my blog and supporting me on this venture. I hope someday to be as crafty and creative as you all are.
Made these cute bags for DD2's classmates. Stole the idea from Michelle. Since these would most likely get torn apart before it even made it home, I didn't embellish. Just let the DP do the talking! I used Stampendous' Changito Mummy because they are the Year of the Monkey and I thought he was so cute!
DD2 also had her final soccer game/potluck on Saturday so we whipped up these bags and stuffed them with goodies. The pink visors (from Walmart) were decorated at the potluck. These visors are really great! We made luggage tags using the same TGF image too (but I forgot to take pic of them).
I still haven't forgotten about the blog candy. Stay tuned.
Boy, for a Saturday night, it sure was quiet out there on the streets. We got some good stuff and I can't wait to dig into them. But, first, I've got some things to share with you that I'll show over the next few days. Not only were we cranking out some goodies, I was also receiving some.
I got a great surprise in the mail from Brenda. She had posted this great recipe book, here. I don't think that she knew that I was drooling over this as I thought it was so cute and wanted to try one of the recipes. Thanks, Brenda I love it! My goal is to try and make one of her recipes this week.
