August C.A.T.S

My August C.A.T.S. partner this month is none other than Wonder Woman aka Brenda from Sweet As a Gumdrop! I dubbed Brenda "Wonder Woman" because she is a mom of 4, has a day care and manages to stay calm and get everything plus more completed!  She's my idol!
Her card and tag are awesome! She even taught me how to make her card.  It's a recessed window panel.  So cool!  So Brenda to come up with something so awesome!  On top of her creative works, she even gave me RAK!  Thanks, WW!
My thoughts and prayers are with those on the East Coast who are weathering out the storm.  Stay safe!

And Another

Whew!  I think I'm winding down in the birthday cards.  Maybe just a few more to go.  This one was made for Teri, the sweetest gal, who does not look any older than the 21yrs that was celebrated!
Made little tiny favors that held a couple of Godiva chocolates.  Got the idea from somewhere in blog land, the site is in a fog right now, I can't remember.

Wini also made these wonderful creations!  She puts so much effort into her projects!  Isn't this the cutest Hello Kitty?!
Have a wonderful week!  Loving these trade winds!

..And Still More Birthdays

Here's another birthday card to share with you.  The copy cat queen (me!) strikes again!  I totally got this idea from Mama, she's got TONS of ideas! Check out her blog, here.
I used Kiyomi, an image from Sister Stamps, check out their stamps, here.  They're coming out with new images soon.  Here's a close up of Kiyomi, all glimmered up!
Enjoy the last days of summer!

Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays

whoa! I've had quite a few birthdays this month.  Guess whenever the weather starts getting colder, people stay indoors more and keep themselves busy....hmmm...plenty summer babies! Enough said.  On to the cards!
Here, I used one of my favorite techniques.  First used, here.  It sure does speed up the card making process!
This one is a collaboration between myself and DD1.  She has the eye for putting together cards, so I just color and she puts it all together.  She's quite clever.

*Edit:  Head on over to Amy's blog, here, she's got some cute Fairwee images coming out soon!  They are adorable!
Enjoy Summer!

C.A.T. July - Part 2

OK, so Cami was not satisfied with the colors of her first card & tag, so she created another set.  And, boy, is it as beautiful as the first set.  Cami, you're nutso!  Your first set was gorgeous!  But, hey, who am I to complain if I can get more than one of Cami's creations!  I just LOVE this image! It's like looking at DD1, except that she doesn't wear pigtails anymore.  I should have done a close up of Cami's coloring and her attention to detail...awesome!  AND, she even did the inside of the card!!  I have yet to work my way up to that level of crafting!
Here's the tag.  So cute & clever too!
Thanks, Cami!  You're the best!
Happy Summer!

C.A.T. July - Part 1

I was lucky to have as my partner for the July C.A.T., the one, the only, CAMI!!  Now, I know that you've all seen her work.  Cami does the most beautiful creations - always so delicate, floral and well, lady like (so unlike me!).  Her C.A.T. creations are in two parts because Cami did not think that her first creation had the right "blue" tones in it.  I don't know about you, but, I thought that it was perfect!

Look at all the wonderful details!  She even decorated the inside panels which I didn't capture a picture, but, rest assured, it's gorgeous!
And, Cami even included a RAK!

Thanks so much, Cami!  You really do "capture a heart!"
Stay tuned for Part 2 tomorrow! It'll knock your socks off!
Happy Summer!

Happy Birthday!

(Coloring by DD2, All else DD1)
Happy Birthday, Son!
Yikes!  DS1 has now moved into the age where he can get a driver's license!  Now, I have run out of excuses as to why he cannot get one.  Guess, I'll just have to suck it up and come to terms with his not being a wee one anymore.  And to think that I had once thought that him going to Kindergarten was a big step.
Well, be on the look out all you drivers out there...another one will soon enter the roadways.  gulp!

Enjoy your weekend!

RAK From Barbie

Made this birthday card with a new CC Design stamp that I got from Barbie.  Boy, oh boy, am I spoiled!  Barbie also gave me the new Sister Stamps, Kiyomi.  And, she gave these to me on HER birthday!  hmmm, something is wrong with that picture.
Thanks, Barbie!  Hope your birthday was fun...I know that most of it was spent in a gym listening to grumbling parents, bouncing basketballs, buzzers and whistles.  But, it was all worth it in the end, right?!!

Happy summer all!

Hawaiian Sunset and A Card

Recent sunset off of Waikiki Beach. So lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Wish everyday could end with a relaxing view of the sunset and a cocktail!
Here's a card I made for a friend's bridal shower.  TGF Creeper Abbey was a RAK that I received from Teri.  Thanks, Teri! Flower is made from SU! Scallop Circle punch and tissue paper.

Hope you all enjoy your 4th of July weekend!

Some Graduation Cards

Graduation sure did sneak up on us this year!  We only thought we knew 2 kids graduating, but, it turned out to be 6 of them!  Wowzers!...sure do feel the age thing when you know kids from baby time to now.  I thought only my folks said "I knew you when you were this big!"  Now, I hear myself saying that too! eeks!

Thanks to Joy, who always shares, I used TGF's Graduation Ian and Anya.  Still trying to learn how to color with Copic markers.  Thanks to these videos, here.
Happy Summer!

Teacher Appreciation

Can you believe that another school year has come and gone?  Makes me want to cry when I realize how old my keiki are....sniff....me, of course am still the same age...21 always.
Made these cool bags for some teachers.  Learned how to make these from the uber talented, Mama, here.   I made mine into a clutch purse because the item inside is heavy.
Summer is here!  Can't wait to hit the beach!
Enjoy the long weekend all!
Happy Memorial Day!

Cards

My daughters and I were busy last week making a few cards.  Because of the stormy weather, their practices and games were canceled, so we turned to our next favorite activity...crafting! We made a couple of Mother's Day cards.  And I decided to enter the above card in Stamp and Create Monthly Challenge, Charms, here.
And we made a couple of birthday cards:
We made a couple of projects too, but, I forgot to take pictures of it.  Hope you all are enjoying your week!
Take care! Aloha,
