Dazzle Me

Made a few of these for the Twilight get together last weekend. Can't believe that a week has already passed. I printed up my own sentiment for the mini notebook. Scanned the image and then shrank it for the clip. I meant to put magnets on the back but forgot...sorry, gals!

Well, gotta finish up the last of my goody bags for Halloween, DD2 soccer team and DD1 basketball team. By the time I share that with you, it'll be after Halloween. Stressful, but, gotta love the crafting! Beats cleaning house any day!

Happy Furlough Friday!

Move Over Count Dracula....

....there's a new vamp in town and he's a beauty! I'm a Twilight fan....of the book series, not the movies. No offense to RP as he is quite a looker. Guess since I read the book before the movie came out, I already had a mental picture of what Edward looked like. And it wasn't RP. But, I could be persuaded to go see New Moon as the werewolves are something to drool over.

ANYWAY, I was lucky to get invited to a "New Moon" kick off with some fans of Twilight. Denise & Jamee decorated their house to match the theme. RAK were made to match the theme too.Denise and Jamee put together this cool tin. Jamee made a choker, but, I can't find mine. I think the newborn vampire came into my room and took it! Denise made these great earrings!
Oh and we all had to wear red, black or white.
Janis also made a bucket of goodies.
Cami gave all these wonderful goodies. So sweet of her! We did 3 projects, one of which was that little basket you see in the orange. It took all of 2 minutes to make. Pretty cool!

We also made a bookmark with HB Edward, but, I can't find mine either. The newborn vamp must've taken that too.

Less than a month before New Moon hits the theaters. But, more importantly:
Halloween is 2 days away!!

Halloween RAK & Make 'n Take

Got a lovely surprise in the mail earlier this week from Marisa. She sent me this great Halloween card with some HB images! So much fun getting this kind of mail! Thanks, Marisa...my first Halloween card!
Finally got a chance to go to a make and take at J's Knicknack. Cheryl had this great project. Pink in honor of breast cancer awareness. Fun and easy project!
Lookee, a cute Hello Kitty! Pez dispenser that Cliff was giving out as a prize. There were some really good door prizes, but, if your number wasn't called, you got this. I thought that was really nice of him. It's an original because it has "Sizzix" written on it! Now to hide it from the kids.

Spooky night ahead of us!

Surprise RAK!

I received a surprise RAK from Cami this past weekend. She is such a sweet and thoughtful person. I had given her some envelopes to make the mini accordion and she sent me this beautiful thank you card and goodies!

Thanks, Cami! I needed the pick me up. It was a stressful week of subbing and sports. But, nothing like a thoughtful friend to make it all better.

Here's a close up of Tilda. Check out the detail that Cami put into the card - awesome!I love the color combo - pink, blue and a little bit of brown! See those little buttons on Tilda's overall? It's real buttons! I never knew that they came so small!

Halloween is 11 days away! (Can you tell that I'm excited?! I LOVE CANDY!!!!)....

Birthday Card and More Favors

DD1 made this card for her friend all on her own. She chose the papers, image, layout and colored it on her own. She used Prisma pencils and did a bang up job!
I put together these post it note holders for some friends who had organized the Ko`olina retreat. Got the idea from here. But, I had to adjust the measurements slightly in order to fit my pens. Got the pens from Fisher Hawaii during the back to school sale back in August.

Halloween is 17 days away!

More Birthday Favors

DD1 and I made notebooks for the adults' party favors. DD1 has got an eye for color and layouts. I colored the hair and skin because I told her that I need the practice.
We had a blast at Ko`olina. It is absolutely beautiful out there. It felt as tho' we were at an outer island resort.
My feet hurt from walking barefoot for such a long period and my fingers have yet to become "un-prune" like!
See that little tunnel? It's the end of the water slide. Inside it was pitch black- scared the #@$% out of me! The ride was fast & furious, I thought that Paul Walker or Vin Disel were going to be at the end of it. But, it was only DH!
Well, back to reality - school, work, laundry, practices, etc.

Have a beautiful day!

Birthday Wishes

Made this birthday card for DD1. She's an avid basketball player, but, also love dancing hula! So since TGF hasn't come out with a basketball Anya yet, Hula Anya it is! DD1 favorite color is pink! As a baby, I tried to dress her in all the colors but pink. So, I guess that she must've felt deprived. What's wrong with blue?!

We're off for a couple of days to Ko`olina with some friends to celebrate her birthday! She's so lucky, all I get is a sink full of dishes and 5 loads of laundry for my birthday. hmmm, something's not right.

Have a great weekend!

Is the Fall Intersession almost over?! When do they go back to school???...nah, jus' kidding. Love spending time with the keiki!

Lucky we live in Hawai`i! Such beautiful weather!

Pacific Stampers Meeting

Howdy ya'll! Reckon it's been some time since I've posted. Must be all the farmin' I've been doing. Got me a couple of farms that's been keeping me busy.
I finally made something - my swap for the SU! Pacific Stampers meeting. It's really simple since I was in a rush.
Here are some of the swap cards that I got:
(the little Frankie is a clever box that Brenda made from scraps)

We made a couple of projects- the matchbox was Jane's project and the candy holder was Michelle's. Cute, yeah?
Happy Sunday!
