New Adventures

Made a couple  graduation cards for some seniors who will be off venturing into the world on new adventures.  What an exciting time!  DD1 made the first card.  We decided to make our cards using non traditional graduation images.  Love how she chose an image that represents her friend!  Only the basketball is missing!

I used TGF's Space Ian for my card, below.
Thought it was funny that we made cards using our favorite school colors!
Hope you're all enjoying your summer!

JUNE OCS

Love doing the OCS! It's nice to get happy mail.  My partner for June is Dori.  Love this side step card or step up card that she made!  I especially love the sentiment!  So true, so true! Thanks, Dori!

Here's my easel card:
Hope everyone had a great week! Thanks for stopping by and leaving me such sweet comments.  I sure do appreciate it!

Have a sun shiny weekend!

Summer Shaker

My 2nd attempt at a double shaker.  Kinda forgot the steps, but, I winged it and it came out okay. I used CC Design from last summer and the new DP from Imaginesce (from J's).  Boy, does she have lots of hair!
Gonna enter it in Tamiko's Challenge, here. Check out her blog and store, Tamiko's. Great prices and great service too!
Have a great Aloha Friday!

TGF Ruby!

Finally got to use TGF's Ruby stamp that I got from Janis awhile back. Made these for DD2's team as a thank you for their support during the bball season and for their coach's gift - a certificate to J's Knicknacks!  WOW!
DD1 helped me put the card together with her keen eye for detail.  Thank goodness someone has talent in our family!  Guess I'll change my status to "supplier."

Enjoy these hot summer days!  Thanks for stopping by!

RAK From Joy

Got this cute gate fold box from the talented Joy U.  Isn't the image & DP just perfect for summer!  I love it!
Joy included some of the beautiful flowers that she puts on her cards & projects and even included the cute octopus stamp!
Thanks Joy!

Summer is fun!

No Trophies, Please

What does my title have to do with crafting?  Well, DD2 just finished her first basketball season and a couple of the parents did not want trophies
Using round coasters, I made these HK medallions and tied them to the colorful leis. The leis were super easy and fun to make...that's what I'm talkin' about!
The girls really liked them and didn't seem to notice that they didn't get trophies.
If you're thinking about different ideas for end of the season gifts, try tie-dying shirts!  Sorry, didn't get a shot of the finished shirts.

We collected $9 from each family, used it to buy the kit and the shirts (plain white ones from Walmart).  Leftover money was used to buy candy.  The girls had a blast dyeing their shirts!
Thanks for popping on in! Your comments put a smile on my day!

MAY OCS

My partner for May's OCS was Jenny S.  She's very creative!  Check out her blog, here.  I love my card!  The butterfly punch border is so cute!  Love the color combo & of course, the image! Thanks, Jenny for my cute card and the hibiscus die cuts!

Below is my card that I sent to Jenny.  I attempted to make the tent card, but, it came out kinda funny. And I was in such a hurry to send out my card that I forgot to put in my little note.  So all Jenny got was a blank card!  oops!
Have a great weekend everyone!

School's Out! Summer's Here!

whew! Made it through another school year. Can't believe how fast the days flew by! Made goody bags, cards, little boxes and forgot to take pictures of them! oh well! But, I did remember to snap shots of these gifts.  Post it note holder for DD2's A+ leader.  Love making those flowers!
DD2 colored the image and I put together the box (CASE from Joy, here & Michelle, here).  Thanks for the ideas!
Hope everyone is enjoying the first days of summer.  We've been hitting the water & beach after a long school year!  So worth it!
Thanks for stopping by & happy Summer!
