How About A Tutorial?

Made a few of these boxes for some friends.  One of them asked me to do a tutorial.  LOL!  I don't come up with any ideas on my own, I am a CASE fiend!  But, for this box, I modified a box that I had copied to come up with my own dimensions.  So....here's my tutorial.
First, go to Teri's blog, Big Ideas From A Little Girl.  Click on Lil' Box (CD holder) in the right column.  Here.  Pau (done)!
LOL! Here's the adjustments that I made on Teri's box:

So, there you have it!  My first tutorial, which isn't a tutorial at all, really.
Thank you to all you creative ladies out in blog land who share your wonderful ideas so folks like me can copy!
 Enjoy your Sunday!

Senior Moment

Do you sometimes have those "senior" moments where you think that you did something, but, actually didn't?  Well, I do that...a LOT!  I think that I've been a "senior" most of my life...and I ain't talkin' high school senior!  I missed posting this wonderful CRAK from wonderful Teri!  Not only does she have the biggest ideas, Teri has the biggest heart!

In the red tin was THE most ono tasting mix, I forget what it's called.  You know the one where you have Chex Mix, pretzels, etc all mixed up together.  But, this one had Cheetos (YUM) and Furikake (dbl YUM!)!  And isn't that stamp so cute?!  Thank you so much, Teri!  Loved it!

Now that I see the picture, I remembered that there is still a couple of that ono hot chocolate left.  So, I'm off to go make me a cup.
Have a terrific day!

SUNNY STAMPIN' MEETING

We had our first SU! meeting of our group with Jane.  We did more talking and laughing than anything else.  But, that is the beauty of crafting...the friendship!  Above is a little favor that I made.  Got the directions from here.  Super simple to make (I fit 6 Hershey mini bars in them).  This is my swap using the new DSP and new butterfly embosslit from the Occassions Mini, oh and the new satin ribbon (so soft):

Here are the swaps that I received:  the first one is an easel card & I only realized now that I didn't even take it out of the clear envelope...senior moment...

I so love SU!  Everything coordinates so easily!
Thanks for stopping by!

Purple For A Friend

Made this card and holder for Kyoko for her birthday. I'm not a "purple" person, but, I like this combination of SU! Kiwi Kiss and Lovely Lilac.I just noticed on this close up that I didn't put a center on the green flower. Hopefully I saw it before I sent it out and added something. Otherwise, oops!

Have a great week!

OCS, A CRAK and A RAK

Just wanted to share some great stuff that I received over the past month. Above is an awesome shaker card that I received from Joy for Teri's OCS. It's so impressive! Joy says that she doesn't like cutting, but, she is one master cutter! Joy made it so that I can stand it up on a desk. I love picking it up and shaking it!

Next are some awesome earrings from Denise. So much talent! How you can NOT go crossed eyed making earrings is beyond comprehension! I love my earrings!
Lastly was another great surprise RAK from 1luvnmama. I thought that it was so sweet of her to think of me. I'm luvn my RAK! Check out her site, it is awesome! I love her coloring! Been trying to get her to share her coloring secret for black hair. All of you whom I have met through blogging are the best! I have learned so much from everyone! Your creativity and generosity are boundless! I am so looking forward to 2010 and learning even more!

Mahalo for stopping by! Enjoy your day!

Hawaiian Time

oof! Can we say "late?" I feel like the holidays came and went without me! Early December, I had participated in a card swap at Teri's. I received the card above which was made by Joy (Tae told me!). It's really pretty IRL, all sparkly and everything. Here's my card - I made the easel card, used PCS images and Smirk DP.These were some of the great make 'n takes that Teri had provided. DD1 made most of them for me while I ate & talked story. Guess it pays to have another craft nut in the ohana.More to share soon!
Aloha no,

Lil' Crafter

DD1 is definitely on a roll. She worked on some cards over the Christmas break and she used whatever scraps she found. She definitely has a good eye for color. Darn, guess I'll have to make room and share more of my stuff. Maybe I'll charge a nominal fee for use of supplies! LOL!I'm catching up on my pictures and hope to post a few more over the next few days. Enjoy your week!
