Make A Child Smile

Every month I send out anywhere from 10-20 cards to children from this site: Make A Child Smile.
It touched my heart reading some of their stories and I realized that sending a card can make them happier & forget their illness for a short while. Sometimes I add little poems, riddles or knock-knock jokes in their cards to "spice" it up just a bit. I think, too that getting a card from "Hawai`i" is a bigger deal than we know.
Thanks for stopping by & for the comments that you leave, I sure do appreciate the love!

Have a sunshine-y day!

Awwwww! What a sweet monthly ritual to have. These cards are soooo cute, I love all the beachy themes and sandpaper layers. You are brighthening up their lives more than you will ever know. When my DD was hospitalized for chemotherapy, one of the things she loved best was the influx of cards from all over the world. :D You are soooo exemplifying the aloha spirit! I love it! And your name too. ;)teehee!

Cute cards & a great idea, your so sweet!

I couldn't find an email for you so here is the answer to your question. I used the cardboard that comes with the DSP packages from SU covered the top "Top note" die front & back with designer paper, the the bottom you only have to cover one side the other side will be facing down. Hope that helps you. thank you so much for visiting my blog today & commenting.
