I'm baaaack...with another new card style that I jacked off of Kim's blog, here.  It's called a Zig Zag card and really easy to make. Made this for my mom's birthday.

DD2 likes to color images, so I try to salvage some of them and use them on cards.  See the green eye shadow?  DD2 just colors her own, while I, on the other hand, have to go and search for tutorials on how to color.  I tell myself it is because her little mind isn't full of things yet, so it's easy to be creative.  whatever.... ;P

Sharing OCS & Xmas Tag Swap

Got these wonderful HK Xmas tags from my October Xmas Tag Swap partner, Karen.  She sent them to me in the beginning of October and I am only posting a picture now.  So sorry, partner!  Me teeny-tiny brain has been working overtime these days.  These HK tags are so adorable, that I don't think that I can part with them!
Next is my OCS card from Kim.  All I can say is "WOWZER!"  I thought her work was wonderful on her blog, but, to see it IRL, well, it's just amazing!

You can't see it in the picture, but, there is sparkle in all the right places!  Beautiful coloring, huh?!

Well, I hope you're all having a wonderful November!  I'm still on a high from October...oh, it must be from the candy! wheeee!

Spoiled again, but this time by Joy U.  Great big bags of candy...did you feel the earth moving?  Yup, it was me jumping for joy! YUM! YUM!  oh, those bags were for my kids.  I LOVE the HK Frankie tag!  Leave it to Joy to be so creative!  Thanks for the idea for next year!

I have a secret to tell you...I LOVE getting these 3D creations, cards, etc...and they could be empty and I'd be just as ecstatic about receiving them!  OK, candy inside wouldn't hurt.

Teri also spoiled my kiddos with huge bags of candy.  More yumminess!  I LOVE HALLOWEEN!

Halloween RAK

Got some super cute Halloween RAK to share with you today.  Michelle spoiled my daughters with these festive pink pumpkins filled to the brim with candies.  I was impressed not only with the candies but, more so with the tags! Cute HK Frankie!
She also made this great box filled with awesome goodies.  I was squeezing my fingers in the top of the box to pull out the candy because I didn't want to ruin the bow.  Little did I know that Michelle had also filled it with some bling and a CC Design stamp image.  Boy, did I feel silly!

Happy Halloween

I made 48 of the little bags above for kids at my daughter's school. Below, I made these little bags & colored these images (from Joy U) for some friends.

Finally made the wrinkly ribbon.  Fun! Fun! Fun! Got the idea from Donna at Three Umbrella, here.

Boy, has it been awhile since I've made a post!  Like most everyone, life just gets a little crazy now and then.  I've got quite a few things to share, so  I will try and share a little each day with you.  Thanks for sticking with me!

Mummy RAK

Got this great mummy RAK from Casey (sp?) who is my dentist's boss...oh, I mean wife!  He won't see this! :)  I don't have the heart to open it up, but, I did get a peak.  It looks like it's a Tim Hotlz decorative stripe die.  WOW!  My first Tim Holtz die....I love his stuff.  I just don't have his style to justify getting his products.

Love the Baker's Twine and that lil' pumpkin!  That's been me lately!  Zoinks!

Since I'm always writing about my daughters, I thought that I would give my son a write up here too. He'll start training and then try outs for his high school basketball team.  That is, if he can pull of decent grades on his report card.  DD2 shows my expression when talking about his grades.

Happy Birthday, DD1!

Boy, they sure grow up fast!  It seemed like yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital.

The image was originally colored by DD2 and I just went over the face & hair to make it look a wee bit better.  DD2 & I decided together what to put onto the card, so it's kind of kapakahi (mixed up).

We had a weekend full of activites for the birthday girl. We even threw in a dead car battery for fun!

Good Times, Good Times

Yes, any day spent eating and talking with friends is a good time.  Tamiko's CT had a surprise baby shower for Mama who is expecting her third child.  So, we got together to celebrate her small miracle!  Michelle U made the cute favor pictured above. It's filled with yummy chocolate dipped Oreo cookies that she made.

And our host, Joy U, organized and planned it all to perfection!  She even surprised us with this RAK, even though she specifically told us NOT to make anything.  So not fair!

I love this time of year!  The rain, the cool air, ahhh!  But, most of all, I LOVE Halloween!  Deep down, it's because of all the C-A-N-D-Y! CANDY!  yummers!
