While we are waiting for the news and updates on a possible tsunami heading toward the Hawaiian Islands, I decided to take a break and peruse the blogs. Prima is having a major giveaway, here.
Stay safe everyone and be prepared.

More Stuff By DD1
So, DD1 continues to create. Got her to use some of SU! pastel chalks. Darn it if she isn't better at it than I am!
DD2 helped put together these Valentine goody bags for her class. Gotta bite my tongue when she colors! LOL! No worries about her taking over my crafting stuff.......yet.....
Happy Aloha Friday!

Salty Sea Air
Sometimes you gotta stop and smell the roses or in our case, the salty sea air! On our way home the other day via Waimanalo, we stopped at Makapu`u Lookout. After years of traveling that way, we finally stopped to enjoy the view. Was a little cloudy, but, still beautiful. Lucky we live Hawai`i.
Big hugs to you,

2nd post for today....
A few more birthdays to go this month. Made this image holder based on Jodi, Inked Inspiration's tutorial, here. The folder was a little too big for what I wanted, so I adjusted the dimensions to:
Told ya'll that I was good at copying! Thanks for the tutorial and idea, Jodi!
February is actually a nice time of the year to have a birthday...for a girl. Guess it's because there's a lot more pink/reds available to craft with!
Enjoy your day!

Feburary Birthdays!
DD2 celebrates her birthday this month! yippee!! "Momma, I don't feel older, but, I feel taller!" says DD2. Big brother bought her 2 balloons: Hello Kitty and Kung Fu Panda. Guess which one she took to school with her....nope, not HK! DD2 loves Kung Fu Panda, Spongebob and Mater...go figure...."Hello Kitty is okay," says she.
1luvnmama had a great musubi project, here and since DD2 loves musubi, DD1 made this card for her:
And I made these as mini pizza box favors for the grandparents filled with Green Tea bags and Ochazuke nori). I scanned a TSRD musubi image, enlarged it and voila!
Musubi and red are DD2's favorites. Thanks, Mama for the great idea!

Stuff Day 3
Day 3. Our story left off with me deciding what to do about letting DD1 use my precious Copic markers. Well, I started off with me doing the face & hair. I like to practice doing those two, so I have a bunch of partial colored images. DD1 could color the rest.
Then, uber talented Jodi offered some tips IRL! (can't get any better than that). The key, feather like strokes.
AHA! So, DD1 asked to color in these Changito Monkeys. These are her very first stamps that she got from Teri. Thanks, Teri!
Here's a close up - DD1 even used SU! chalks to shade in the sky. sheesh! she thinks of everything. even made her own layout.

Stuff Day 2
DD1 is an artist at heart. In preschool, she would bring home wonderful drawings and I'll have to admit, they were pretty good for a 3-4 year old! I'll have to dig some of them up and share them with you.
She recently discovered my TGF stamps and Copics. BUT, I wouldn't let her near my precious Copics. Not yet. KWIM?! Here's a close up - she's got the glitter and shading thing going on!
So, DD1 uses my Prisma pencils with a blending pencil (which were my first love). Had her make my SIL a birthday card. Here's the result....oh, and DD1 uses my scraps too.
She's pretty darn good. She's asking to use my Copics....what to do? To be continued....

Stuff Day 1
Can't think of a snazzy title or anything, sorry! First up are some stuff that I've been working on. I'm so inspired by all the blogs that I surf that I've been working on some boxes and coloring with my Copics.
This reddish brown hair is my favorite. Blonde hair is my next challenge and of course, black hair. Shading is my most difficult challenge.
Here's one more that I did for a punchy, sweet gal ;)
I got the package idea from In Style Stamp blog, here.
This is CC Design Santa Birgitta, but, I found that if I used non Christmas colors, she looks like she's wearing her sleep hat and pjs. do you think so too?
Here's a close up. This is my other favorite hair color....brown or brunette.
We're almost to the weekend. Remember to hug your loved ones!

Stuff To Share
Hi ya'll! Hope everyone is doing great! I'm fighting a head cold that has left me with muffled hearing....huh? what?...a sinus headache that comes and goes...so, I've been mostly tending to my farm on Facebook. Yes, I'm addicted! Anyway, senseless talking. On a previous post, I had shown some great cards that I received in a swap, here. Well, I failed to show that one of the cards was an easel card. The original picture did not do any justice for MaryAnn's card. Here it is shown open. It's so pretty! Loving the pink.
Next are RAK from my SU! upline, Jane. She's super crafty and always comes up with some great projects. She had this cute make and take that she did for her Open House. Isn't it cute? It's 2 mini Hershey bars stacked on each other.
Here's a great card that she made. Pretty cool, huh?! It's an altered version of the gateway card. Have to give this one a try, especially since she gave instructions. Thanks, Jane!

Got tons to show you this week because DD1 & DD2 were crafting with me this past weekend since we tried to stay indoors to rest.

JANUARY OCS
My partner for Teri's January OCS was Dori. This was her first OCS and she made a great card! I love monkeys (and Dandelion Design stamps)! Dori made the z-fold card. I may have to try this style as I haven't made it in awhile.
Here's my card. It's a shaker! Sure hope the beads didn't fall out. I think I put enough beads, just in case a few got away.
Got this cute IRAK (image RAK) from Joy, the shaker queen. Tried working on the Copic hair coloring technique that Jodi showed me. Made it in pink because you can't go wrong with pink! Thanks for stopping by!
A smile is sure to brighten someone's day, so smile!
Aloha no,
