Sharing OCS & Xmas Tag Swap

Got these wonderful HK Xmas tags from my October Xmas Tag Swap partner, Karen.  She sent them to me in the beginning of October and I am only posting a picture now.  So sorry, partner!  Me teeny-tiny brain has been working overtime these days.  These HK tags are so adorable, that I don't think that I can part with them!
Next is my OCS card from Kim.  All I can say is "WOWZER!"  I thought her work was wonderful on her blog, but, to see it IRL, well, it's just amazing!

You can't see it in the picture, but, there is sparkle in all the right places!  Beautiful coloring, huh?!

Well, I hope you're all having a wonderful November!  I'm still on a high from October...oh, it must be from the candy! wheeee!

Forgot to share my OCS card that I made for my partner, Kim Yu.  She's incredibly talented and boy, was I a wreck trying to decide what to make.  I jacked the idea from the Lily of The Valley blog...a twist on the easel card, here.

OCS and Xmas Tag Swap Sharing

My OCS partner for September was Colleen.  Check out her cute card!  The theme was summer and she nailed it!  Love those palm trees!  Would hit the beach today, but, it's raining like crazy here on the Windward side.  But, I love this weather!  Below is my OCS card:

For my tags below, I used the Sizzix die cut from last year's Christmas dies.

Whew! The days are just flying by and I'm not sure which way I'm going! Sorry to my August partners for OCS (Sherri Miral) and Xmas Tag Swap (Chris D) for not posting their wonderful creations!  heeeyyy channing..looking good today.....
I put them on my display board and forgot to post pictures of them!  oops!  So, above is Sherri's OCS, a pretty gate fold card.  And, below is Chris' Xmas Tag Swap (she even made a cute card to match!):

Xmas Tag Swap & OCS

Just popping in with a quick sharing of my Xmas tag for Kyoko's Tag Swap.  Nice & simple.
Next up is my August OCS card based on the Asian theme.  I realized that I really don't have much in that area.  I used TGF's Chibi image with cupcakes...who can resist cupcakes.

The flowers are regular flowers that I clipped to give it a little Cherry Blossom look.  Added the staman and rhinestone.  Does it look Asian?

As Biff says on "Back to the Future:"

So, I'm off on my wonderful life as a mom...hula lessons, bball games and parties!

I realized that I forgot to share with you this great card from Jovita, my July OCS partner!  So cute!
Below is a little favor purse/container that I made for Teri's class this past Sunday.  CASEd the idea from Chic n Scratch blog, here.

Got the idea for the flower from, Patti's Creations, here. Although my flower did not come out like hers, I still liked it.

Best I change my name to JACK since all I do is "jack (steal, borrow, etc)" ideas from everyone else!

July OCS

Here's my July OCS for my partner, Jovita.  It's a shaker-easel card!  Hope she likes it.  This shaker card was so much easier to make using Joy U's new technique!  Thanks for the tip, Joy!

I haven't gotten the hang of making these shakers.  I feel like Goldilocks...this one has "too many" beads, and this one has "too little" beads, but, this one is "just right!"  Except that I have not gotten to the "just right" shaker yet!  But, I will....I hope!

Love doing the OCS! It's nice to get happy mail.  My partner for June is Dori.  Love this side step card or step up card that she made!  I especially love the sentiment!  So true, so true! Thanks, Dori!

MAY OCS

My partner for May's OCS was Jenny S.  She's very creative!  Check out her blog, here.  I love my card!  The butterfly punch border is so cute!  Love the color combo & of course, the image! Thanks, Jenny for my cute card and the hibiscus die cuts!

Below is my card that I sent to Jenny.  I attempted to make the tent card, but, it came out kinda funny. And I was in such a hurry to send out my card that I forgot to put in my little note.  So all Jenny got was a blank card!  oops!

APRIL OCS

I got partnered up with Cyndi for April's OCS.  She made this really cute purple card.  It pops up, but, I couldn't get a good picture of it open, so, here it is closed.  Love the image & her coloring is great!  Thanks, Cyndi!

And, here's my card that I made.  Can't see it in the picture, but, I used Crystal Effects on Anya's rain boots to make it look slick and also on the water puddle.

FEBRUARY OCS

 oops!  forgot to post the cards for Teri's February OCS.  My partner was Sheryl.  The colors didn't come out too nice in the picture, but IRL, it's a nice green combo with pink.
Here's my card:

It's Saturday!  Loving this cool weather we're having in the Islands.  Get to use long pants and long sleeve!

JANUARY OCS

My partner for Teri's January OCS was Dori.  This was her first OCS and she made a great card!  I love monkeys (and Dandelion Design stamps)!  Dori made the z-fold card.  I may have to try this style as I haven't made it in awhile.

Here's my card.  It's a shaker!  Sure hope the beads didn't fall out.  I think I put enough beads, just in case a few got away.

Got this cute IRAK (image RAK) from Joy, the shaker queen.  Tried working on the Copic hair coloring technique that Jodi showed me.  Made it in pink because you can't go wrong with pink!

November OCS

My partner this month for Teri's OCS is Michelle U. Don't you just LOVE her card? It's so yummy! It's a slider card. So, so cute!Talk about pressure!

Think! Think! OK, Michelle loves HK, so that made that one easy. Now, what to do. Pink and brown are her favorite colors. Ok, now what. sweat, sweat. Go play Bejeweled Blitz. Oh, now I gotta check my crops. 2 days later. Feel better. But, still no idea. Go check out some blogs. There it is! On Marie's blog! a diorama card! So, after almost a week of sweating & playing TONS of Bejeweled-got 316,000 points...hee! hee! Here's what I came up with:Whew! I didn't have any good sentiment stamps so, I left it plain. Sorry, Michelle!
