whoa! I've had quite a few birthdays this month.  Guess whenever the weather starts getting colder, people stay indoors more and keep themselves busy....hmmm...plenty summer babies! Enough said.  On to the cards!
Here, I used one of my favorite techniques.  First used, here.  It sure does speed up the card making process!

This one is a collaboration between myself and DD1.  She has the eye for putting together cards, so I just color and she puts it all together.  She's quite clever.

Yikes!  DS1 has now moved into the age where he can get a driver's license!  Now, I have run out of excuses as to why he cannot get one.  Guess, I'll just have to suck it up and come to terms with his not being a wee one anymore.  And to think that I had once thought that him going to Kindergarten was a big step.
Well, be on the look out all you drivers out there...another one will soon enter the roadways.  gulp!

Hawaiian Sunset and A Card

Recent sunset off of Waikiki Beach. So lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Wish everyday could end with a relaxing view of the sunset and a cocktail!
Here's a card I made for a friend's bridal shower.  TGF Creeper Abbey was a RAK that I received from Teri.  Thanks, Teri! Flower is made from SU! Scallop Circle punch and tissue paper.

Some Graduation Cards

Graduation sure did sneak up on us this year!  We only thought we knew 2 kids graduating, but, it turned out to be 6 of them!  Wowzers!...sure do feel the age thing when you know kids from baby time to now.  I thought only my folks said "I knew you when you were this big!"  Now, I hear myself saying that too! eeks!

Thanks to Joy, who always shares, I used TGF's Graduation Ian and Anya.  Still trying to learn how to color with Copic markers.  Thanks to these videos, here.

Monday Mania with Club Anya

I haven't quite gotten the hang of making these yet.  Although, it is easier now that Joy passed on her tip about using the foam sheets.  The hard part is getting the right amount and the right type of filler beads.

Crafty Lil' Hands

There is no doubt that DD1 has all the artistic talent in our family.  I can sit for hours trying to figure out layouts, etc and here she goes and makes a card in an hour or less.  The thing that gets me is that she uses scraps!  sheesh!  When I use scraps, I get crap...hence that name "sCRAPs!

Graduation Card

This graduation card was a family effort!  DD2 did the coloring, I did the embossing, stamped the sentiment & added the bling.  DD1 colored the background and pieced it all together. Now that was fun!

New Adventures

Made a couple  graduation cards for some seniors who will be off venturing into the world on new adventures.  What an exciting time!  DD1 made the first card.  We decided to make our cards using non traditional graduation images.  Love how she chose an image that represents her friend!  Only the basketball is missing!

 Thought it was funny that we made cards using our favorite school colors!

TGF Ruby!

Finally got to use TGF's Ruby stamp that I got from Janis awhile back. Made these for DD2's team as a thank you for their support during the bball season and for their coach's gift - a certificate to J's Knicknacks!  WOW!

 DD1 helped me put the card together with her keen eye for detail.  Thank goodness someone has talent in our family!  Guess I'll change my status to "supplier."

Move Over Snuggles, Here's Cuddles

The new TGF stamp images are so cute and the CC Designs and the Belles and Whistles and the Tiddly Inks and the....well, you get the idea!  My GF, Barbie surprised me with the new TGF Cuddles and as a thank you, I made her an image holder. Thanks, Barbie!

Kept it simple since the DP did all the work!  Now, I'm off to work on my May OCS.

Easter Anya Challenge

 DD2 made a card for a friend's birthday.  She used Prima pencils as she doesn't quite have the hang of coloring with Copics yet (or could it be because they're hidden....hmmm...snicker).  I thought that I would surprise her and enter it into Tamiko's Easter Anya Challenge, here.  If you haven't submitted a card, get a move on!

Whew!  What a fun weekend we had....crafting with friends and playing basketball and even squeezing time in for Farmville!  Got lots to share this week!

March OCS and A Challenge

New TGF Stamp!

Got a surprise, RAK from Barbie after basketball practice last week.  I forget the TGF image's name since Alice is the only name that comes to mind when I see her.  This image was perfect for DD1's friend's birthday card.  We decided to leave it simple (as per my instruction from my card master....DD1...best I change her name to CM1 or CC1..card consultant!!  sheesh..make a few cards and suddenly has a say in everything ;)

Stuff Day 2

DD1 is an artist at heart.  In preschool, she would bring home wonderful drawings and I'll have to admit, they were pretty good for a 3-4 year old!  I'll have to dig some of them up and share them with you.
She recently discovered my TGF stamps and Copics.  BUT, I wouldn't let her near my precious Copics.  Not yet.  KWIM?!  Here's a close up - she's got the glitter and shading thing going on!

So, DD1 uses my Prisma pencils with a blending pencil (which were my first love).  Had her make my SIL a birthday card.  Here's the result....oh, and DD1 uses my scraps too.

She's pretty darn good.  She's asking to use my Copics....what to do?  To be continued....
