Another Thank You Card

Here's another thank you card that I made using some awesome flowers from Summer at Roses on Paper. The pack was a thank you for helping Jodi at Teri's Social gathering. I thought that was really sweet of Summer because it wasn't any work or trouble at all! Plus, I got to see Jodi's coloring technique about 4 times!

I cased Joy's out of the frame technique that she showed here. It was pretty easy to do. Although Anya's legs are so far out of the frame, it looks kinda goofy! Hanging in air there sister!The DP was from Janis. Don't you just love the cupcakes & ice cream cones? I do! So, I'm off to go eat some Cold Stone right after my kids' activities today.

Thank You Card

Made this thank you card which is long overdue. For some reason, my "to do" list is quite long. And my list seemed to have gotten lost amongst the pile of back to school papers. So, it was a surprise to dig it out of the pile yesterday and see what I needed to do. If I keep up this pace, I'll miss my own funeral!

I used TGF's Rockstar Anya (got it from Joy's blog candy) for this card in her jeans & white t-shirt. If I could, I'd wear this outfit everday (minus the boa & star glasses). Prima flowers from Roses on Paper and DP is DCWV.

MY AUGUST OCS & SOME PROJECTS

I forgot to show my August OCS that I made for my partner Ilissa. I used TGF's Rockstar Anya that I won from Joy's blog candy. It's such a cute image and fun to color. I remember the days of going to night clubs and always wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans. I liked wearing clothes that I could just wash & wear. No dry cleaning for me!
Seeing Anya with her feather boa makes me think that I could've "dressed" up and worn one too! ha! Here's a close up of the cutie:

Sweet RAKs

Just wanted to share some RAKs that Brenda gave me. She's definitely "sweet as a gumdrop."
I'm a great admirer of her work and am amazed at how she can be so productive with such a large family plus day care. You go girl!! Love the gifts!!Speaking of which, my keiki are standing over my shoulder and I can hear their stomachs rumbling. sheesh! You'd think that they were hungry or something?! Jus' kidding!

Monkey

Weird title, but, I can't think of anything else...
The past two days have been full with crafting and friends! I've got tons to show, but, first, I need to work on a project for DD#2 Kindergarten class. So stay tuned for more in the days to follow.

I received this thank you card from Brenda. I LOVE it! Monkeys are one of my favorite characters, probably because my youngest is a monkey...oops! I mean because she was born in the Year of The Monkey!

August OCS

I opened my mail and got such a sweet surprise!! My OCS from Ilissa. Ilissa just started her blog, Loving It Everday and I've been admiring some of her cards and voila! here come one in the mail!
I just love Teri's OCS. It's one thing to see the cards posted on the blogs and another to see it IRL. Ilissa was also a sweetie to include TGF's Snuggle stamp and some pearl blings!! Received a birthday thank you card from Berenice, Sweet Escape. It was sweet of her to include some stamped images. Love the card with "thank you" in 3 different languages! Don't you just love it?! Gorjuss Girl?

No crafting this week,...yet...since the keiki all started school. I swear the school supply lists are never ending. The employees at Fisher Hawaii must think that I'm a new worker there since I've been there practically every day since school started last week!

Ever since I saw the GG images, I thought that DD#2 looked like one of the images. Kyoko was kind enough to share her GG stamps. So, I made a name tag for DD#2 backpack (in my favorite color-hee!hee!) using the pouting GG. Here's DD#2 on the first day of school...see the resemblance?Actually, DD#2 was super excited to be going to Kingergarten. I had found these pair of shoes and she absolutely loves them - she had to wear them on the first day. She even practiced tying them herself.

End Of Summer

Summer has come to an end, well, summer vacation in any case. **sniff**back to school with all its craziness. We had a blast this summer just going to the beach, playing basketball or lounging around the house. It'll take me weeks to clean up our mess! But, I love spending time with my keiki. Good thing they don't mind having me around!!

I'm more like a collector than a creator!
7 interesting things about me....hmmmm:
1. I watch a variety of shows from cartoons to HGTV to ESPN. Disney Channel is one of my favorite stations. The tv is always on when I'm home.

2. Basketball is my all time favorite sport. I've been a youth basketball coach for 8 years.

3. I LOVE chocolate & Pepsi (well, now I have to drink Diet Coke cuz the body love to store fat at my age!)

4. I am not a creative person, I am just really good at copying others.

5. I lived in Japan for 2 years teaching English. Poor kids only learned basic pidgin English!

6. I am useless in the kitchen! Cooking rice and Spam are my specialties.

7. My 3 keiki were not planned (at all!!), but, I love them more than anything!
