In all the excitement for the blogging sistas gathering, I forgot to make a card for a friend who just had her 3rd baby girl. Good thing that I had stamped off this cute TGF image from Kyoko's amazing collection. I only wish that I could have as many stamps & so organized! Mahalo, Kyoko!
I was so jazzed after the get together that I started coloring some images. I put this together on Sunday night. Since I forgot that I was going to make a gift card holder, I improvised - a card with a pocket to hold the gift card.
(psst-Linda, am I to late to win the prize for finishing a card? LOL!)
Off to mail this or my friend will get this at her baby's 1st birthday! Then to the beach for the final days of summer vacation!

It's always fun to learn (copy) different ways to make gift card holders. One of these days I'll be the original maker of a design (yeah, right....in my dreams). Anyways, blog hopping as usual and came across this neat holder, here. It was super simple and easy and fun to make! Will definitely be doing this one again!

Made a couple of gift card holders that I've been seeing and since I missed the boat for Teri's class in October I had to give it a try. It took me a few hours to complete ....hello?!! Maybe it was because "Wolverine" was on in the background and I couldn't resist a peek or two. Did you see how "cut" Hugh Jackman is in this show? 
This first one is a 4 x 4 gift card holder. This is actually for one of the parents who volunteered to photograph the team pictures. I love this basketball set and have used it often as the kids play tons of basketball. Gonna run out of ideas soon!
This second one is for the coach who took their team to 1st Place! Very exciting season.
