Hawaiian Time

oof! Can we say "late?" I feel like the holidays came and went without me! Early December, I had participated in a card swap at Teri's. I received the card above which was made by Joy (Tae told me!). It's really pretty IRL, all sparkly and everything. Here's my card - I made the easel card, used PCS images and Smirk DP.These were some of the great make 'n takes that Teri had provided. DD1 made most of them for me while I ate & talked story. Guess it pays to have another craft nut in the ohana.More to share soon!

Lil' Crafter

DD1 is definitely on a roll. She worked on some cards over the Christmas break and she used whatever scraps she found. She definitely has a good eye for color. Darn, guess I'll have to make room and share more of my stuff. Maybe I'll charge a nominal fee for use of supplies! LOL!I'm catching up on my pictures and hope to post a few more over the next few days. Enjoy your week!

Aloha 2009, Hello 2010!

I'm so lucky to have met some wonderful gals through blogland this past year. They are so sweet to have sent some great CRAK! They all ooze with talent and I'm so lucky because I have so many choices to copy from!!

This one is from Brenda! I'm copying this one for DD2 Valentine's Day - gonna put images into a folder for the kids. That they can color! Below is a box filled that Brenda filled with sewing items! Does that mean I have to hem and mend now? No more masking tape?!! Another great gift idea that I'll steal for Mother's Day! Thanks the the ideas, Brenda!
Below is another surprise CRAK from Kris! Kris' unbelieveably talented and never seems to sleep! Check out her blog, as I'm sure most of you have already because she just bangs out those cards like crazy! Love it and love that her fav color is blue!

See that little note pad with my name? Well, Kris hand stamped each page! Unreal!
Oh, and Kris, I LOVE your card...and CRAK! I was so inspired that I made an easel card for a card swap that I'll post later.

Wishing you a festive New Year's Eve and all the best for a wonderful 2010!

Is it over? Did I miss Christmas?

Here are some BRAK that I received in the past few weeks and haven't had a chance to post them. Thank you so much, Christina, Marisa and Teri!I think I almost missed Christmas this year! Talk about cutting it close! Yikes! I almost forgot to wrap my kids' gifts!! Good thing Santa still made it to our house. Phew! I only finished my christmas cards today, guess I'll call them "holiday" cards this year!

I had all the intentions of getting things done and as I look at my mess, I find that I didn't even come close to completing my crafting projects!

As we come to a close in 2009, I hope you all have great memories to cherish. I sure do, and I sure am thankful for all the new and old friendships!

But, I ask myself, why is it that I can remember things from years past, but, I can't remember what I went to the store to buy or even remember that I was supposed to go to the store?

Happy Holidays!

More RAK

Last week, I was surprised to have gotten a BRAK from Joy (above) and a RAK from Cami (below). Both girls are uber talented and super, super sweet! As you can see, great minds think alike since both their RAK were the box with easel! Great job ladies!!

Thank you for the goodies and for your friendship!!

Have a great weekend!

Fun Time with Friends

Denise had one of her good fun get togethers last weekend. She's always so gracious in opening her house to us and never expects anything in return.
It's always nice seeing everyone and talking story. Got some great RAK (below) and door prize and grab bag goodies (pictured above)!!
We had a make & take by Jenny V and Brenda-these are shown in the bottom 2 pictures. We used embossing paste with glitter-it's supposed to be a card, but, mine was still wet so I didn't put it together yet. Brenda had us make a recipe coaster book. Both projects were awesome!!

Thanks all! It was good fun as always!

Can you believe that it's December already?!
